Lock Out Tag Out Training – How to Control Hazardous Energy

This 3.5 -hour program is designed for all managers, supervisors, workers and maintenance staff. An idea class size is up to 20 participants. We conduct this program in your facility or job site, on your schedule, utilizing your equipment, procedures and situations familiar to your people.

  • Important definitions that everyone should know
  • What are the sources of energy to control
  • What are the steps to lock and unlock a piece of equipment
  • Implications of the new lockout standard CSA Z 460-05
  • Under what circumstances do you need to lock out
  • Actual lock out simulation in the classroom
  • Different lock out devices

Each participant will receive course materials and a certificate of participation. The company will receive a record of training and a copy of the course materials and test results for your file.
