Pre-start Reviews

Section 7 under the Industrial Regulation 851 states that based on a number of stated criteria, a “timely professional review identifies specific hazards, or hazards associated with exposure to chemicals and other designated substances, in certain circumstances. Section 7 is intended to ensure that such hazards are removed or controlled before the apparatus or process is started up.”

The review is designed to ensure that workers are protected and uses a number of guidelines, codes and standards as a benchmark to determine if the equipment that is being inspected meets these levels. Our engineers and professionals have reviewed many pieces of equipment including punch presses, racking, dust collectors, cranes, and flammable liquid storage facilities. We have long relationship with a number of clients who rely on us solely for their Pre Starts.
