Section 7 under the Industrial Regulation 851 states that based on a number of stated criteria, a “timely professional review identifies specific hazards, or hazards associated with exposure to chemicals and other designated substances, in certain circumstances. Section 7 is intended to ensure that such hazards are removed or controlled before the apparatus or process is started up.”
The review is designed to ensure that workers are protected and uses a number of guidelines, codes and standards as a benchmark to determine if the equipment that is being inspected meets these levels.
